Birthday weekend

Nightmare! Somehow all the blog of the birthday weekend has been wiped off! Well...it stated with a panic situation in Singapore when Chaska asked how many presents etc did I think would find him abroad..yikes! How can a one in a million lifetime trip come anywhere near to some spiderman pants and starwars figures etc? So thinking as they had such an amazing day at Sentosa http://www.sentosa.com.sg/ I would arrange for him to have it there.We had 2 nights there, I told him in the taxi en route, he was absolutely thrilled! I managed to get a cake made for him and smuggle it in to dinner as a surprise and the resident band sang happy birthday...chinese style! He was a tad embarrassed. Birthday morning he had some bits and bobs, mostly things he needed for the pool etc. Thank heavens, what I dreaded would be an awful and boring day for him turned out to be his best one yet..so he says.

On the day we were leaving our hotel, I was packing the cases and opened the patio doors to get some non nappy infested air through the room, thinking as we were on the 10th floor security wouldn't be an issue, however...I didn't account for monkeys! I turned around to find a huge wild baboon sat perched on my chair!! I shooed him away but he wasn't keen to budge, needless to say the doors remained shut and we enjoyed the lovely air con instead.
